Tony Romo played on Monday and the Cowboys won 18-16 against the Redskins at Arlington, Texas. There is an article on it at this Sports Illustrated website here. I thought Romo shouldn't of played Monday because he was already injured. Romo had a punctured lung and a cracked rib. If you injure an injury even more, then the injury will last longer. I know Romo is showing spirit and strength, but I would rather play football longer by healing my wound first, than risk the chance of sitting in the stands because of extended injury. I bet many of the people out there have been injured at least once and know how it feels to injure an already injured injury. There was a very good chance Romo could have been tackled hard, and the rib might have broke and caused more pain, but that did not happen. This is where Romo is lucky because none of the worst events occurred. Either way, the Redskins did have a good chance to win this game. I wonder if the coach urged his players to tackle Romo to get him out of the game. It would be a good strategy, but a very, very dirty one.
