Will NFL Teams "Suck for Luck"?

     Most of the time, when you are bad, nothing good comes out of it. However, in the NFL, the worst team gets to have the number one draft pick for the next year. Who is next year's projected number one pick? Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck. Sports analysts have made a mock campaign, in where they say who is in the "running" for drafting Andrew Luck. Basically, the candidates are the worst teams in the NFL. This movement, under the names "Suck for Luck Campaign" or "The Andrew Luck Sweepstakes", has sports analysts wondering if NFL teams are actually losing in order to get a higher draft slot.
     Andrew Luck, who was projected to be the number one pick in last year's draft, decided to stay at Stanford for his redshirt junior year. Luck was also the runner up for the Heisman Trophy, the award for the best player in college football, last season.
     One of the front runners, the Indianapolis Colts, are winless, and without their star quarterback, Peyton Manning, they are in dire need of a good quarterback. Some other teams that are in the running for the worst are the Minnesota Vikings, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Seattle Seahawks, and the Miami Dolphins. Maybe they can go from zero to hero with a little Luck.
